If you don’t have a driveway or your skip is too large for it, you’ll most likely need a permit, which costs £84 including VAT. A skip permit can take up to 7 days to arrange, so please consider this turnaround time within your skip delivery date.
We can safely dispose of commercial waste such as asbestos and plasterboard. Large plasterboard and asbestos skips are available for isolated disposal, alongside roll on-roll off skips for industrial waste. Call us on 01603 721533 to discuss specialist requirements.
Small amounts of plasterboard can be placed in a general skip, but must be separated from other waste using a plasterboard bag. Make sure to add these bags to your online checkout if required – we offer a small size and a large tonne bag.
We’ll give you a ‘collection from’ date for when we’ll come to pick up the skip. Hire is provided for a week minimum on our standard skips, to allow for a full 7 days of hire. We can be flexible when it comes to collection – feel free to leave a note on the booking form or give us a call and discuss alternative options. Be aware that we may not be able to fulfil your request as this relies heavily on staff availability and product demand.
Feel confident that none of your waste will contribute to landfill pollution. We use a bespoke and self sufficient sorting process to recover or recycle all materials received on site.
We are Norfolk’s waste recycling specialists, and the only skip hire company in East Norfolk capable of processing non-recyclable waste into Refuse Derived Fuel, allowing us to achieve a ‘0 waste to landfill’ promise. With the mantra of ‘If you wanted to, you would’, we pride ourselves in processing waste efficiently, sorting through with state of the art recycling machinery, and by hand to recycle or recover all materials received on site.

We’ve compiled a list of the most common questions we get asked about our skip rental service.
What can you put in a skip?
We take a large variety of materials in our general skips including bricks, rubble, tiles, carpets/underlay, textiles (including mattresses), wood, furniture, metals, green waste, soil, and much more. The 8 yard skip is the largest size available for soil, rubble and other heavy construction materials. Anything larger has a weight limit, therefore we don’t recommend disposing of heavy materials in our 10 yard and 12 yard models.
We don’t accept disposed fridges/freezers, fluorescent tubes, mercury waste, asbestos, electric monitors, gas canisters, plasterboard, liquids (dried out solid paint is okay), tyres, and items that could have dangerous chemical reactions.
If there are any items you’re unsure about, call our team on 01603 721533 to see if we’re happy to take them.
Why can't you put plasterboard in a skip?
When exposed to other waste, plasterboard can produce hydrogen sulfide gas which is toxic, flammable and harmful to the environment. This risks contaminating the rest of the materials within a skip, deeming them non-recyclable.
Please separate your plasterboard from general waste using a plasterboard disposal bag, which you can purchase at checkout with your skip hire.
We offer two sizes:
Small plasterboard bag: 26x25in/98L – £30
Agg bag (tonne bag): 35x35in/729L – £84
Ensure to place the bags into the skip before your collection date.
I already have a skip and need another one, can I order another one?
Of course. Just order your new skip for delivery and make sure to note in the comments if you’d like your old skip to be collected at the same time.
Do I need a permit for a skip?
As a general rule, if a skip needs to be placed on public road, you’ll require a skip permit. Let us know when booking online and we’ll arrange one for you with your relevant council. This can take up to 7 days, so make sure to consider this in your delivery time.
If you’re not sure whether you need a permit or not, we’ll check for you!
