Say hello to Adam and his newly refurbished lorry!
Adam’s PSH vehicle was starting to look a little worse for wear after years of excellent service in skip drop-off and collection, so we decided it was time for a bit of a refresh. Steve, another brilliant member of the steadfast PSH team, spent a week with Adam’s lorry at our facility in Rackheath, Norfolk, working on transforming the vehicle into something that looks brand new.
All of the skip equipment was removed from the lorry and split apart to be cleaned and serviced, all done by Steve himself. We then shot blasted (a surface treatment that sprays grit at high velocity) the wear parts, including the pins and all other moving parts, and the vehicle itself, ridding it of debris, rust and old paint, leaving behind a beautifully shiny blank canvas. Steve resprayed the cab in our signature “Parker brown” and golden yellow, then got in touch with Paul at City Signs to reapply the new decals.
After only a week or so of hard work from Steve and Paul, Adam’s lorry is looking good as new, and particularly fantastic in this sunny picture with Adam himself! Adam is a fantastic member of the PSH team, always ready to offer anyone a smile, and we appreciate his cheerful attitude and hard work. If you see him out on the road or on his way to deliver you a skip in his shiny PSH lorry, make sure to give him a wave.
