Recently it has been even busier than usual for the team here at PSH Environmental LTD.
As part of our household waste processing, we usually receive waste from Broadland District Council and selected areas of North Norfolk. Until mid May we have agreed to receive and process all of the North Norfolk District waste, due to a planned maintenance closure of the Suffolk waste to energy incinerator. This extra waste is coming directly from household refuse collections across the county.
This increase in demand for our waste processing services has seen the amount of household waste arriving for processing double in recent weeks.
Once it arrives with us it is mixed and blended with other non-recyclable waste into refuse derived fuel (RDF) and baled and wrapped ready for transportation to the Netherlands, where it will be burnt to produce electricity.

Efficient waste processing in Norfolk
Despite the huge increase in the waste we are processing, the team are still taking great pride in keeping our yard spotless as usual.
The PSH Materials Recycling Facility is based close to the Norfolk village of Rackheath, on the industrial estate. By ensuring every element of waste is processed and baled as efficiently as possible we minimise the impact on the local environment. We are proud to say that as a result of the care we take whilst processing the waste we receive, should you be passing you would never know about the huge volume of waste we process behind closed doors.
In addition to the work we carry out with local government, if you are considering a skip hire in Norwich, you can be assured that this waste is also sympathetically and quickly sorted, keeping both our yard looking its best and the surrounding environment left unaffected.
