We pride ourselves on being the only waste recycling specialists in East Norfolk capable of in-house processing of non-recyclable waste into fuel, allowing us to reliably achieve 100% landfill diversion.
Our directors knew from the start of the business in 1985 that we as humans are too wasteful, so they have slowly put the thoughts of recycling into practice as much as possible. Their initial waste reduction plan starts off by fabricating their own skips and then refurbishing any that may need repairing. If you look closely at the manufacture date, you may even find one of our original ‘parkers skips’ on your driveway.
Eco-Friendly Waste Recycling
When you hire a skip from PSH Environmental, you can rest assured our recycling facilities are just that: Environmental. The installation of our 798 solar panels, which cover our entire plant roof alone, saved 123.19 tonnes of carbon last year, equivalent to planting 80.69 trees.
In addition to our renewable energy power source, our diligent recycling processes ensure that every piece of waste that comes into our site that can be recycled, is recycled. Whether that be aggregates and soil for resale, cardboard and metals for repurposing or shredded wood used for generating electricity and heating, with our state-of-the-art machinery, we recycle all we can to reduce waste.
In 2023 alone we recycled and repurposed over 8150 tonnes into new usable products. We understand there will always be waste, but it is up to us to process it in the most efficient and sustainable way.

With every skip you hire from us at PSH, we donate £1 of that cost to our partners over at The Norfolk Wildlife Trust. This is in an effort to help ‘Green Up’ Norfolk’s Wildlife and restore the stunning ancient woodland of Foxley Wood back to its original state.
